QR Treasure Hunt Generator
I recently was reminded of a great site that allows you to make your own QR codes. You can make a series of questions with the QR Treasure Hunt Generator and then the site will help you convert to QR codes that you can hang around the classroom. I had the idea to use these QR codes at Open House to put fun facts about myself so parents and students can learn a little about me.

PrintnShare Pro
Since purchasing an iPad I have encountered several occasions when I have wanted to print from my iPad. I also have wanted to connect to my home server to access documents stored there. After much research my husband ran across PrintnShare Pro. I know can print from my iPad and access local files from our home servers. PrintnShare Pro does cost $5.99 but is well worth it. Pin It

End of the Year Student Gifts
I am a follower of the Confessions of a Teaching Junkie blog. One recent post showed end of the gifts to students using Wordle. Wordle is an on-line tool that creates word clouds. I have used Wordle in the past for vocabulary words. The post showed using wordle to make word clouds for each student. I made an organizer with each of the students names on it. I had the student write down one adjective to describe their classmates. I then took the organizers and made Wordles for each student. I then went to the dollar store and purchased frames for each of the Wordles and framed them. The students loved them.

Scoop it!
I recently participated in Cook Tools to Curate Content webinar sponsored by Infinitec. During this webinar I was introduced to Scoop it! Scoop it is an on line site which allows you to make magazines. Scoop it is a free site. Scoop it makes it easy to link sites for student research. My students were so excited to research using the sites I scooped.
