Kahoot

I am always looking for new ways to engage my students. Assessments are particularly hard to make fun and engaging.  This year I have begun to use Kahoot to assess my students. Kahoot is an online assessment tool that is game-based.  My students love the quizzes I make to cover our content. I also have them make their own questions, submit them to me, and then we all participate. Check Kahoot. I think your students will love it.

Screen Chomp

Screen Chomp is a great app for making videos on your iPad to use in a flipped classroom. Screen Chomp has a white board that you can use to write one. You can also bring in other content to mark on as well.

Ed Puzzle

EdPuzzle is a great new site I found. You can use videos found on You Tube, Khan Academy, Learn Zillion, and other sites. You first select your video you want to use.  You can then voice over to add your comments as you need to.  This sites is great for flipped classrooms. Pin It

Liberio

Liberio is a great new site I recently learned about. This site allows you to write your stories in Google Drive and then export your files into various ebook formats.  Liberio is perfect for people who love to use Google Drive. Pin It

Daisy the Dinosaur

Daisy the Dinosaur is a great free app for student wanting to learn how to code. This app has a drag and drop interface that shows basic computer programming. Pin It

WeVideo

WeVideo is a great online collaborative video editing tool for students. WeVideo can be accessed through handheld devices as well.  WeVideo has a free subscription as well as paid subscriptions as well.
