VideoNot.es

VideoNot.es is a great resource for students to use when they are watching a movie. This site allows you to connect via Google drive. You then can have the notes on one side of the screen while the video plays on the other. I like to use this site to model to students how to take notes from a video.

Code

Today I was introduced to a great site called Code.  Students can learn how to write basic computer code. This site would be great to use for extensions.  LearnCode.org has videos and lesson plans for teachers to use in class.

PBS Learning Media

I am always looking for new sites that have videos to use class to support flipped learning.  I recently heard about PBS Learning Media.  PBS Learning Media looks like it will become one of my go to sites for videos to support my curriculum.  Once you create a free account you can create folders to save favorite videos to access later.  This site has a multitude of great videos on every topic.
